Several former campers have been members of the staff after going through the Junior Counselor and Counselor in Training (CIT) Program. These programs perpetuate the traditions of Camp Quinebarge from one year to another. Nancy Bickford is the Camp Director. She was previously the Waterfront Director at Camp Q as well as a Physical Education Teacher and High School 3 season coach for 5 years. Paul Arnie Wooten is the Facilities Director. He has been associated with Quinebarge for over 25 years in a variety of capacities. Quinebarge employs a full-time resident registered nurse. Medical care is available 24 hours daily. STAFF POSITIONS! We are currently seeking talented and mature staff members for our summer season ! If you are comfortable around children and would like a rewarding summer contributing to the growth of children in a summer camp community, a staff position at Quinebarge will provide you with memories for a lifetime. We offer competitive summer camp salaries and are an equal opportunity employer. Partial and full summer positions are also available. A salary bonus is paid for the complete summer season in addition to the regular salary. Openings exist in Waterfront, Sports, Fencing Ropes Course, and Camp Nurse. You must be able to share these skills with children in a non-competitive camp setting. Our season for staff extends for 7 weeks from late June through mid-August.
