Family Camp for Fun for the Whole Family

Quinebarge’s Family Camp

Founded in 1936, Quinebarge is a premiere, traditional coed sleepaway camp focusing on fun, friendship, kindness, and personal growth. Parents love our program so much that they wish they could join in the fun, too. We created Quinebarge Family Camp so that parents, siblings, and extended family members can share quality time, have fun, and experience the magic of Quinebarge together, in a traditional Family Camp setting. See full details for this year’s Family Camp here.

Family Camp for Fun for the Whole Family

Quinebarge Family Camp offers all the fun of our camp sessions, designed for families to enjoy together: multiple activities, daily hikes, campfires, and even Monkeytown Olympics. You can take a dip in Lake Kanasatka, shoot a bullseye, get your craft on, or glide down our zipline, all while spending quality time with your loved ones.

Our counselors supervise children ages 2 and up at activities, so you can choose to join your children, or relax in the company of other adults. In the evenings, we offer a choice of babysitting in the cabin areas, or kid-friendly activities led by our staff, while parents can enjoy some grown-up time.

Comfortable Accommodations

During Family Camp, your family can live in a private cabin or yurt, or elect to share with another family. Our comfortable cabins all feature electricity and bathrooms, in addition to bunk beds, screened windows, and cubbies for storage. Each cabin houses up to 14, so even the largest family can bunk together in one cabin.

Not Ready for Independent Sleepaway Camp?

If your child is too young, or not quite ready, to attend our independent overnight program, Family Camp is the perfect way to prepare. As a family, you’ll experience the magic of Quinebarge, and become familiar with Quinebarge’s facility and staff. You’ll watch your camper branch out, make friends, and try activities on their own – building independence and confidence little by little. When it’s time to leave, they’ll already be asking about coming back next summer.
