Ava F – Age 8

Because of camp I now know how to make new friends.  I also learned it is easy not to be shy around new friends at camp.  I was nervous before going to camp and even when I got there, but it didn’t last very long.  Very quickly I wasn’t scared because the counselors helped me make new friends and have fun.  They also made me feel safe even when there was a little bear at camp in the girls area.
