Premiere Summer Camp In New England

Becoming the Premiere Summer Camp in New England

Since 1936, families have trusted Quinebarge, the premiere summer camp in New England, to provide once-in-a-lifetime experiences to their children. Located on Lake Kanasatka in Moultonborough, NH, we offer a traditional, overnight experience to children ages 7-16. For us, being a premiere camp means paying attention to every detail, and treating every child as an individual. With a 2.5:1 camper to staff ratio and a culture of kindness, fun, and friendship, we ensure that each and every child has a summer to remember.

Providing What Campers Want…

We know that campers really want two things at camp: to have fun and make new friends. For us, fun is simple: we tailor every camper’s schedule to the activities they want to try that week. With our approach to activity scheduling, campers attend activities they’re truly interested in, and never have to step too far outside of their comfort zones.

Lifelong friendships are our bread and butter here at Quinebarge. Before opening day, we train our staff extensively in the art of fostering friendships and connecting with campers. That training is put to use from the first afternoon of each session, with counselors leading icebreakers and team building games to spark friendships right away. As the session progresses, each cabin becomes tight-knit through experiences designed to help them bond, including group trips, campouts, and (pre-approved) mischief. The end result lives up to the words of our Friendship Circle song, which we sing nightly: “Friendship is everlasting, here at Camp and later on…”

…And the Peace of Mind Families Need

Quinebarge is committed to being a safe and welcoming environment for all of our campers and staff. To that effect, we are licensed by the state of New Hampshire and maintain accreditation with the American Camp Association. ACA Accreditation is a voluntary auditing process, ensuring that we meet over 250 nationally recognized standards. These standards cover everything from aquatics to staff qualifications, vetting and training, and everything in between.
