We encourage all new campers to attend with a friend, and work to make sure that every camper makes a new one. These bonds are so long-lasting that alumni from decades ago still tell us about their camp friends, and what they’ve meant to them over the years.

Ask any of our campers and they’ll tell you – camp friends are the best friends. Why? The bonds of camp friendships go beyond the – considerable – memories and experiences they share while here. We train our counselors to foster and strengthen friendships, helping all our campers form new bonds each summer.

Friendship is Everlasting, Here at Camp and Later On…

Each night we close Evening Activity with our Friendship Circle, singing together the words of our Friendship Circle Song: “…Friendship is everlasting, here at Camp and later on…” These words ring true for Quinebarge campers of all ages. The days are filled, the activities are fun, and the memories are joyful – but their close friendships are the reason campers return year after year. We guarantee that your child will not only make friends at Quinebarge, but that those bonds will last a lifetime.
