Since 1936, Quinebarge has offered a wide range of traditional camp activities in a coed, residential setting. We offer a wide range of activities, included horseback riding, all included in tuition. Our approach to programming along with a robust equestrian program makes Quinebarge a truly well-rounded horseback riding camp in New Hampshire.
Daily Lessons and Expert Instruction
Campers who select “Horses” as one of their activities receive daily English or Western instruction from our expert staff. Participants ride each day in our spacious ring, or on one of our forest trails, and do not need prior horseback riding experience to participate. Counselors evaluate riders’ ability on day one, and personalize lessons to each camper’s level of comfort, skill and ability. During their time on the ground, campers learn the basics of horse care, from brushing, to mucking out and tacking up. Helmets are provided.
A Summer of Unbridled Fun and Friendship
Even more important than the activities your camper will attend are the friends they will make at camp. We dedicate several hours on day one of each session to icebreakers and team building activities, presented in ways to make newcomers feel comfortable. Friendships are solidified over the weeks through small group outings and events, and through simple shared experience and adventure. After a session or summer, your child will return home with new friendships they will carry throughout their lives.
