Founded in 1936, Camp Quinebarge is recognized as one of the best summer camps in America, offering children ages 6-16 a traditional overnight camp experience they will never forget. Our unique program and traditional setting come together to form a premiere camp experience, recently recognized by New York Family magazine as a top summer camp. We create a community in which every camper thrives by focusing on kindness, fun, friendship, and personal growth. 

A Unique Experience for Every Child

Because every camper is unique, we believe their camp experience should be, too. To accomplish this, our program revolves around camper’s choice activities. Each week, campers select the activities they love or want to try for their schedule. Campers can choose from 10 overarching activities, and over 50 total, which are kept fresh and excited with a rotating schedule of games, projects, lessons, and challenges within each program area. Choices include:

Friendship is Everlasting

For us, friendship is everything. The most important thing with which we can send children home from camp are new friendships to treasure. We help children build these friendships in a variety of ways. On each move-in day, campers play icebreakers and other get-to-know-you games with their cabins, starting the session off on the right foot. From there, we foster friendships with cabin and small group activities, trips, and other bonding experiences. By the end of their session, each camper makes new friendships that will last a lifetime.
